Highly Versatile
Ultra-smooth Hardbord is a great surface for mixed media, collage, plein air, metal leaf, heavy paint applications, and is also a perfect support to mount watercolor papers, photos, fabrics, prints, and more.
Artist Safe
Only Ampersand’s Hardbord is made without formaldehyde or harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds) unlike other hardboards and MDF boards. In addition, we routinely test the raw materials we use to ensure artists' safety and consistency in quality. No harmful chemicals used, no dangerous emissions for artists.
Eco-Friendly
Central to Ampersand’s mission is to ensure that our products do not harm the environment or the artists who use them. Both our domestic and imported panels are made from FSC-certified forest products that promote sustainable forests.
